Better Waverly Community Organization (BWCO) was established in 1978 as an all-volunteer community association with several goals:
- Improve quality of life
- Strengthen community
- Empower individuals and groups to address and resolve matters of mutual concern
- Work in cooperation with neighboring communities, government agencies, and private organizations to further the interests of the community
The BWCO Board of Directors meets the second Tuesday of each month, except July and August, at 7pm at Serenity Place, 932 Gorsuch Avenue. Board meetings are open to the public.
Annual & General Meetings
The annual meeting of BWCO is held in September each year, and is widely advertised to encourage all neighbors to attend. In addition, at least two general meetings are held each year, in March and June.
